Earlier this year, I was in Rabaul, Papau New Guinea. I hiked up the Tavurvur volcano, and the next day it erupted. I have photos of the hike up and the eruption the following day.

I have travelled as a single female since I was 18. Any young female travelling single needs to be cautious to a degree, depending on where you are travelling. Unfortunately, not all places are safe. I can share my experience and recommendations.
