Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to dive into culture head first and experience every aspect of life.
ABOUT ME
I was lucky to be raised in a family that spent all summer camping and traveling around the U.S. I later moved to Alaska for school and fell in love with extremes. I enjoy being within touching distance of Alaska Brown Bears, 200 miles away from any road system as much as I enjoy walking around a smog filled city of 10 million people tasting mystery meat from a street vendor.
PHILOSOPHY
"There is more to life than increasing its speed."
-Mahatma Gandhi
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I'm not traveling or working in the middle of nowhere, Alaska... my couch is your couch.
I've also stayed on a couch or two and am looking for nice people to host my travel buddy and I for our Grand Asia trip of 2008 - 2009.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never had a bad experience (knock on wood). I think that if you are willing to participate in a global community such as this, you are more than likely a decent person. The world needs more couchsurfers!
