我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I love to travel and have often toyed with trying out couchsurfing to get a different experience than using hostels or camping. I have a good friend in Arizona who often hosts and he's had good experiences with it. Right now I currently have an extra bedroom in my home, and I'm not getting to travel as much as I'm accustomed to . . . so I'm tempted to try hosting in order to still get the experience of meeting new people from backgrounds different than my own. I have yet to host and am a little hesitant to have strangers in my home around my teenage daughter . . . so am more open to women than men as visitors . . . at least at first. Sitka is a beautiful area with lots to offer folks who like the outdoors - as long as they don't mind a little rain :)
