About Me
Just a big kid off to see the world
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Within 2 years of travelling on my visa, I quickly became bored of the hotel experience. I want to meet real people and hear their stories. I lived next to stables in Scotland, I stayed on a stable in Iceland, so honestly I don't live to spoil myself.
I'd like to stay with hosts that also enjoy this kind of experience when they travel, and believe the people are sometimes just as important as the places they visit.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a metalhead at heart, but I'm open to all sorts of music. There's no superior genre, just what makes your foot tap and what doesn't.
I'm very into sci-fi films, but my all-time favourite movie forever is Cool Runnings.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driven through a blizzard in rural Iceland. Almost crashed the rental car. I was insane. I'd do it again.
Teach, Learn, Share
Some people are career people. They've been good at something and they do it their whole lives. And I wish I could be one of those people, but I'm just not. I grew up as a jack-of-all-trades, so now I'm seeing the world as one.
Every 5 years I push myself to get really good at something completely new. Right now I'm focused on writing music, learning German and understanding astronomy. I've pushed myself in the past with illustration, animation, radio announcing, cricket and Lego building (yes it's a serious thing). Next things I'm thinking of is engineering and snowboarding.
Illustration will always be my first and greatest love.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I've got a bunch of stories, and my time on radio made get pretty used to talking and listening.
I'm not afraid of cooking.
