About Me
ABOUT ME
I am a 25 year-old New Zealander and I have been living in Melbourne, Australia for 3 years. I am a law graduate, but music is my passion and life. I play guitar and sing, write songs, manage bands, produce a music tv show and promote tours. I have also played and coached a lot of sport throughout my life, and still play soccer and tennis.
I'm a very outgoing and positive person. I tend to be an open book when I meet people, and I love to get below the surface as quickly as possible and talk about real things. Although in saying that i'll pretty much talk about anything with anyone, especially when I'm travelling.
I joke around a lot, and I think I could safely be described as cheeky.
I am pretty liberal politically, and I am driven by my passions much more than money.
I am very ambitious with my work, and have always approached it my own way, setting up my own businesses and generally doing my best to avoid routine.
I have not traveled nearly enough for 25, but the trips I have had were the most amazing experiences of my life and I felt completely at home traveling on my own around the USA. Since University finished I have prioritised relationships and work over travel, but the next few years is looking like my time to see the world.
I am often described as a mix between Brett & Jermaine from Flight of the Conchords. This is not very accurate, but mainly because of curly black hair, thick rimmed glasses and a monotone Kiwi accent.

Interests
Music is the centre of my world. I play gigs every week, write songs, go to concerts, work in the music industry and listen to music in every spare moment. I love Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, Iron & Wine, Bon Iver, Elliott Smith, Jordie Lane & Matt Langley (I manage these two) and many many more.
I was all about tennis until I was 15, and then music started to take over. I still love sport though, and have been coaching and playing quite a bit over the past few years. Other than a few lazy periods, I generally stay in pretty healthy shape and like to keep fit.
There isn't much spare time after all that, but I always enjoy catching movies, comedy, going to dinner, and of late hanging out with French people.
I like to talk about politics and social issues, but while I am passionate about a few things I am still a little apathetic when it comes to getting involved. One day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
1. Organising a concert with 13 acts at a 1800 seat theatre and getting up to play half way through knowing that everything had gone smoothly and would be fine. Possibly the proudest, best feeling ever.
2. Favourite traveling moment was going out to dinner with this amazing girl in San Francisco, chasing down a limo that randomly drove past, driving across the city in it while passing around the joint the driver was smoking, being dropped off at an open mic night, playing some songs, and then finishing it singing Bohemian Rhapsody with a homeless guy and his boombox from across a street.
3. The couple of times I have fallen in love.
