About Me

I am a 22 year old Canadian currently backpacking Europe. I am hoping to improve my French by spending 3 months in France and then I plan on visiting Spain, Germany, Switzerland, the Nehterlands, Belgium, the UK, and Ireland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am hoping to meet some incredible people while travelling and experience life as a local. When I return to Canada for school in Septemeber I will be living in Montreal and I hope to host many couchsurfers during that time.

Interests

Music - I used to play jazz (saxophone) but unfortunately I have let my skills deteriorate. I love to share music with other people and I am very open to different styles.

Meeting new people - I believe every one has a story worth sharing and I love to hear them.

Sports - I mostly go biking and swimming, play squash, football, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, basketball, baseball, golf, and badminton. But I am always up for trying something new.

Photography and Art- I enjoy viewing beautiful landscape photography and paintings and I will look at one for a very long time if I really like it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - the Dandy Warhols, Elbow, Porcupine Tree, Hugh Laurie, Pink Floyd, The National, The Decemberists, Joshua Redman, Burton Cummings, The Asteroids Galaxy Tour, The Dixie Chicks, Lisa LeBlanch, Klô Pelgag, Childish Gambino.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiked the Northern Hills in Thailand, staying an evening with the Lahu Tribe, and seeing the most stars I think I will ever see in my life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think teaching and learning is the most incredible and important process of humanity.
I love to teach, learn, and share with others as many things and as often as possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you to juggle up to 4 balls - but I'm self taught and have never actually owned real juggling balls. I have two tennis balls in my bag (for stretching) so if you have more you can learn! I am also happy to help you learn/practice English.
I will share my love of music, sports, art, and life with you. If you have a blender and time in the morning I am happy to make you Eggs Benedict, or make you something more simple if we don't have time :)
