Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted and surfed and met up and travelled with people. Couchsurfing enriches my life and travel experiences and brings me in touch with people whose paths I never would have crossed otherwise. Awesome.

I love music. I love to listen, learn, play, compose, produce, teach. Let's go see your favourite local band!

I try to keep a good book with me whenever I can. I like to make up accents for every character, so sometimes it takes me a while to finish a book.

There's nothing better than long walks far away from busy cities - preferably with a dog by my side.

Forget what you know about genre, there are only two types of music - good and bad. Here's some music I think falls into the first category. Tom Waits, Frank Zappa, Bon Iver, Prince, Thin Lizzy, Black Country Communion, Chopin, Opeth, Howard Shore, Aerosmith, Chet Baker, Led Zeppelin.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching the Aurora Borealis dance around, like a curtain in the sky, over Northern Minnesota.

Making music with people is always amazing, whether it's in an orchestra, a band, at a jam night or around the campfire.

I can teach you Smoke On The Water on guitar, Chopsticks on piano and Another One Bites The Dust on bass.

Teach me how to cook. I need all the help I can get. I'll buy the ingredients.
