About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To create the changes needed for a more peaceful, just and sustainable world - and to meet those from around the world who are on the same journey

ABOUT ME

I am a quietly subversive greenie while working in the corporate property and toiurism world. I was Chairman of Ecotourism Association in Australia, and on the advisory council of Green Cross Australia. I work on building sustainable communities across the world - starting with Australia, where I founded the Ethos Foundation a NFP group dedicated to promoting the changes needed to create a more peaceful, just and sustainable world. www.ethoscentre.com

I am presently living alone in Dubai, while my wife and daughters are in Australia. But I am very happy to help any young travellers on their way through Dubai. It is important that we all connect in a way that will help the people of world learn to come together as one community.

I am a non smoker, and would enjoy to meet and welcome new people from all over the world to Dubai.

PHILOSOPHY

"The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation, and go to the grave with their song still in their hearts".
Henry David Thoreau

Teach, Learn, Share

I have learned, that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.
Henry David Thoreau

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
Henry David Thoreau
