Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've surfed around the perimeter of the United States with my sister, staying with hosts in major cities.
She was the CS pilot at the time, so you can check her profile for the references.

The entire experience was amazing and I hope to do more in the future. Everyone was so hospitable.

I've met a couple of the cool people my sister has hosted, and I've been considering hosting for a while.

Interests

Do all the things! I'm interested in way too much stuff with not enough time to do it all, so here's the stuff I find myself doing the most:

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Good music. As to what defines a good song, I couldn't tell you. I don't know whether or not I'll like a song unless I hear it. I like things from many genres.

Books: Anything Neil Stephenson, Oliver Sacks, Bill Watterson. I have to admit I don't read much.

Movies: Inception, The Dark Knight, Studio Ghibli, Pixar, Star Wars.

Anime series: Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, Psycho Pass, Full Metal Alchemist, Mushishi, Denno Coil, Zetsubou Sensei, Shingeki no Kyojin, most mecha (even when the plot is terrible) and more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2 month road trip around the entire perimeter of the United States.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'll teach anyone who doesn't mind running how to play ultimate frisbee.

I can answer almost any questions about how a computer or the internet works, with at least a high level description. HTML5 web development and Python are my current specialties, along with Linux system administration.
