ABOUT ME

I am a positive, thoughtful person, studying at the University of Manchester. I'm excited to meet some people and have some great conversations! At the moment I'm on my first cycle tour, headed down the West Coast of the US, after getting across the Canadian Rockies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet people, have some laughs, and if that goes well, to make some real friends along the way!

Interests

I love live music of any genre and while I'll listen listen to a variety of things, I mostly enjoy punk. I used to play drums in a band, something I hope to do again one day. A night in, listening to music, can be one of the best ways to spend an evening!
Cycling has recently become one of my biggest hobbies, it started as just riding to university and back, but now I ride as much as possible and even my travels are starting to be bike-based!
I am also very interested in people and the way we think. I like deconstructing thought processes and finding the root of where an idea might have come from, or just generally exploring my mind!
Electronics is my occupational hobby, so if anyone wants to talk geek, I am most definitely up for that too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cycling the climb up to Lake Morraine before breakfast in July 2015, to catch it before the mass of tourists arrived, was one of the most rewarding and enjoyable mornings of my life.
