ABOUT ME

I love learning...and I love teaching as well. I thoroughly enjoy having philosophical conversations with as many different kinds of people as I can. I am a freelancer, entrepreneur, and activist with a background in software and biology. I grew up in Tucson, AZ and have lived in Seattle, Ecuador, and the UK. I've traveled all over and I currently live in Detroit, a city that continues to fascinate and inspire me.

Apart from computers and science, I love the outdoors and traveling internationally. Nothing is more satisfying to me than to go deep into the wilderness with backpack and hike for days. I also love to ride bicycles, in the mountains and in the streets. Along with public transit and rideshares, my bike is my primary mode of transportation. I have been obsessed with hip hop since I was young, especially the art of freestyle, which I do a little of myself.

Yo amo aprender, y tambien enseñar. Ademas, me encanta conversar sobre filosopía e experiementar gente y cosas totalmente nuevas para mi. Sin embargo, tengo intréses en muchas otras cosas, por ejemplo reforma de educación y español. Soy programador, yo trabajo independientemente para programar y diseñar pagínas web desde era joven.

A parte de computación y ciencia, me encanta la naturaleza. No hay nada que me satisface más que caminar en las montañas por unos días con una sola mochila. También me encanta la bicicleta, en las montañas y la calle. Yo me muevo con solo la bici y transito publico. En cuestión de música, tengo un obsession de hip hop hace era muy joven, especialmente me gusta el arte de freestyle (estilo libre; hip hop improvisado), y a veces hago freestyle.

I host people frequently at my house. I have done lots of traveling all over the world and have used couchsurfing on almost every continent. I have had nothing but incredible experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled solo and lived for 6 months in South America. I met and learned from so many amazing people. Backpacking in the Andes and visiting ruins in Peru was mind blowing, to say the least.
