My name is Alayna and I am a university student currently working on my bachelor's in marketing. I am born and raised in the South but I did live in Seattle, WA for 2 years at a younger age. My mom always took me on road trips and flights growing up so it wasn't a big surprise to discover my passion for seeing the world in recent years. I have recently acquired my passport so I will very soon be an international traveler, I only have limited travel time due to my schooling but I am applying to study abroad for the academic year of 2018-2019 in England through my university's program. I have been all over the USA so far!!!!!!!! I love nature so the places I prefer traveling are where I can see the beauties you don't find in cities. Mountains are my favorite.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and I absolutely love going to hostels and making new friends from all over the world. However, I have found that there's a good amount of places that do not have hostels in the nearby area. I'm not on here to host currently but I am a traveler and am open to the idea of hosting maybe after college.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most types of music besides country honestly. My taste may range from Johnny Cash to Portuguese Guitar depending on the day of the week. My main go to is indie/alternative genres. I have too many movies to think of one off of the top of my head, although, my favorite types of movies are comedies, suspense/thrillers, and documentaries. I love a good book. Classics are great but so are modern day, too. Currently reading Dracula by Brom Stoker.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to pick only one thing but I would have to say for right now, I feel that I am blessed to have been able to hike throughout the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, USA over a span of two days.
