I really believe that education and passion for what you do can make a difference in this world, and I really want to contribute to build a more just world where all people and creatures have the same rights to live free, happy lifes, with access to food, clean water, and the right to enjoy living this wonderful life.

A friend invited me to know CouchSurfing, and going to Rio de Janeiro will hopefully be my first experience and a very good one.

Interests

I really love my job; i work on sustainability, developing corporate plans and working on GHG management. I also teach at the Industrial Design Department of a really cool university, and do some volunteering :) So, getting connected! I really believe people should take care of each other, and respect all creatures.. I guess sustainability is about justice and love.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies.. Well, I'm obsessed with Pride and Prejudice, and Cinema Paradiso. I love to see movies of any kind, for children or documentary. Music, i really like good rock, jazz, blues.. but some of my favorite artist would be Feist, Lila Downs, Ella Fitzgerald, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters.. Books, I really love Jose Saramago's books, and poetry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm about to do the most amazing thing by going to the World Youth Congress at Rio de Janeiro, and then to the Rio+20 Summit on sustainability.. so.. I'm pretty excited about that..
When I was at college, studying mechanical engineering, I was part of the SAE Baja team, so that was quite fun.. and hard, knew a lot about myself. Then worked for one of those huge companies where I had a really interesting thesis for my Master Degree, working on friction stir welding on aluminium plates, and there I began my fascination with materials.
Well.. I'm quite passionate about the things I do, so each one is amazing for me..

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to meet people that work on Biology, or Geology, or Oceanography or anything that has to do with nature. I love animals, so I'm a big fan of Vetz and rescuers. I also love to meet teachers, philosophers, musicians, or just anyone who took the risk of doing what makes them happy rather than people told them could make them rich.
