About Me
CURRENT MISSION
TRAVEL AROUND THE WORLD!!. Meet people and live experiences to broaden my world vision
ABOUT ME
I am a 29 year old spanish girl, currently living in Galway, Ireland. I came to learn english two years ago, with just a backpack and the idea of find a job and learn the language through the day-by-day life. Mission achieved! :-D
Throughout all my life, since I was a child, I have felt the necessity of traveling. It has always been like a fire inside me that keeps pushing me forward and abroad. I have travelled a few countries, but not as many as I wish! and some of the best experiences have been discovering the place with locals, there is nothing like it! so that's why I think Couch Surfing is such an amazing and great idea, a big network of travellers willing to help each other out, a network of open minded people that want to learn from new cultures, and meet new friends all over the world. Yes, I am definitely up for it!! :-D
I consider myself a very friendly person, very easy going, and very respectful with other people's space and time. My parents made sure I was a mannery guest, hehe, always hammering things like: "if you are invited to a house, make sure you help the mother out, set the table and wash the dishes after the meal!", etc... things like that. And of course, I am absolutely grateful to my parents for that. As they say in Ireland: manners cost nothing, and its nice to be nice. ;-)
What else? well, I am a very adventurous person, I love the outdoors and I love animals, specially dogs. I am also extremely curious about almost everything... and I think that's about it!
So that's me! And I am really looking forward my first Couch Surfing experience!!
PHILOSOPHY
Don't do to others what you wouldn't like to be done to you.
Live and let live.
Carpe Diem. life is short.
Karma works. ;-)
Never stop learning.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can offer host in my house in Galway, Ireland, or a coffee o drink with the surfer, and show the people the area! And of course I am dying to become a surfer, too! :-D
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None at the moment through the web, dying to get started!
In Marocco I travelled for two weeks with a few friends, one of them being local. We stayed in his family house, and even though they could't speak english or spanish, and I couldn't speak arabic (at first, hehe..), we made ourselves understood perfectly! Moral: a big smile, universal gestures, and (specially) the best desires in our hearts, are all that people need to be able to understand each other, no matter the language! :-D
When I first came to Ireland, I pretty much discovered it from a local, too. That made a difference!
Etc, etc...
