About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Try to learn burmese, eventually die trying

ABOUT ME

I'm french, nothing more to say. It's my curse as much as my pride.

In 2011, I visited a discreet country I felt in love with almost immediatly (No no, that is not the pitch of Titanic ...).

2 Years after that, I found my way back in Myanmar and started working in a local business. And here I am, happy to be far from France, in a country full of incredible people!

PHILOSOPHY

I don't have any specific philosophy. I wish I could follow Bouddhism rules and way of life but I'm afraid my Karma is in such a bad shape I'll probably need a thousand life to make it better (If earth doesn't blow up before ...)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I guess by opening my door to couchsurfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Haven't have that much experiences yet... So far, had relatives of friends of mine, french friends travelling together, Colombian couples seeking for Nirvana, Thai ...

Interests

I'm interested in almost everything. They are only few things I would consider as boring or not interesting at all.
For international visitors that come along here to read this profil, It would be Justin Bieber and for french ones, would be Taal. I consider both of them as major threat for Human Being.

On the opposite side, I litteraly worship a french humorist, actually two of them, who gave me a big inspiration: Desproges because he is the One. Deadly funny, very, very dark humor unlike coffea, it's sour, very sour! And Devos, master of the french language, play with words just like a jugglet. Able to play musique with junks. A clown, a minstrel ...

For those who are not french don't worry you will find out what I mean if we meet.

Music, Movies, and Books

*** Music
- Sai Htee Saing: THE CLASSIC!
- Elvis Perkins, The Bamboos, Band of Heatens, Brigitte, Brooklyn Funk Essentials, Gainsbourg, Cat Stevens, Los Van Van, Soneros ALl Stars, and so on!

*** Books:
- "A Confederacy of Dunces" of course. One of my favorite book. It's like I want to be Ignatius!
- "Le Petit Prince" St Exupery. French book, but a very touchy story. Nothing to do with previous one but I'm a man of contradiction

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Work in Asia! I will not say It's like a dream come true (Ok this is not Myanmar Idole here...) but it's probably the most challenging thing I've accomplished so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach burmese! NO! Just kidding. I can share some tips or advise on the city, what to do, when etc. In exchange I'll ask for retribution ... Ah come on! Just a Joke (As a former flatmate used to say). It's totally free of charge.

Please, don't be disappointed if I can't go visit with you. Most of the places you're about to visit I have seen a thousand times already ... Depends on my mood but then again, will be happy to give advice!

What I Can Share with Hosts
