ABOUT ME

Hey,

My name is Alban Cherrier, a traveler of 22 years old!
I have been studying for 3 years and I decided to take a gap year to discover the world. After few hesitation, I decided to leave from France to Australia and work there. Currently, I'm traveling around it and I planned to move to Pacific Islands such as Cook, French Polynesia and Paques! Afterwards, my plan is to go from Chili to Mexico passing by all the countries of South and Central America.

It's a lovely trip and a huge experience that I will try to finish it!
Afterwards, I will do a master in international business abroad (US and Brazil) during 2 years. And my personal project is to create my own company once everything will be finish!

I'm on it because I really like the idea to host people in your home, or being hosted and discover new people. It's always a pleasure to meet the local people when you are travelling, having a good time and discussion.

Moreover, a trip is very expensive, Couchsurfing is helping us on this problem by turning it as an advantage: meeting new people, having a good time and share experiences!

I have been studying for 3 years business and finance. I have been abroad last year in Scotland to complete a bachelor degree in business.

I always loved travelling since I'm 15 years old. I moved in Canada, US, Mexico, Jordan, Thailand, All Europe and now Pacific and south America. I love the fact that travelling is teaching you the real life, the respect and help you to discover so many things that you were not expected to see in your life.
Travelling is the best education for someone! It's helping you to be open minded, meeting new people, manage yourself when you are in front of problems, find a way to always being happy!

I love sport as well! I have been playing many sport as tennis, judo, soccer. But definitely, my favorite sport is rugby. I used to play during 7 years now. It's such a pleasure to be part of a family and having real friends who can help you anytime!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I'm listening different kind of music. I'm not focus on one precisely. But I really like house, deep house and chilling techno. Really nice move and relaxing as well!

I'm looking many movies when I have the time. I don't have favorite same if I really like the movie coming from a real story such as Blood Diamond, Hotel Rwanda, Dallas Buyer Club.

I'm really interested by what is going on the world. I'm reading the news every morning and every nights. I really like economy and geopolitics. Moreover, I love read biography of people. I have been reading the one of Chabal, Poutine, Obama, etc, and i'm on Steve Jobs's one actually.

I can teach french to everybody! It will be a pleasure to teach you some words and sentences!

I would love to learn different languages, so I would be definitely on for words coming from your own one!

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

I can share my good mood, my smile and my happiness! I'm always ready to cook, drinking a beer around a table, having a glass of wine, going out for a drink, sharing our experiences, talking in different languages!

I'm really ready to meet new people, this is why i left around the world by myself! Not to stay into a room of hotel and watching TV !!
