CURRENT MISSION

Currently I'm in the Alagoas State coast of Brazil (Maceió, etc.) travelling for a couple of months.

ABOUT ME

I'm a world citizen with Portuguese passport, 63, I'm at a stage in my life where I want to live in touch with Mother Nature. I'm a birdwatcher, nature photographer and Photography teacher. I like rivers and wetlands, particularly those of special importance for birds. I was born in Africa, Mozambique, and I'm an Africa lover, as well as a South America one. I've been in Guinea-Bissau as a volunteer Coordinator of a Humanitarian Help Program (1990) and I've visited 3 islands of Cabo Verde (1994). I've been living in Argentina for almost 20 years, as well as 12 months in Paraguay.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Sharing ideas and experiences, knowing people, helping travellers, teaching Photography.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm (almost) an ABSOLUTE BEGINNER in CouchSurfing (I have had only 2 fulfilling experiences in Uruguay/2010). The reason is because I'm a bit shy and do not like to disturb people... but I believe I've changed a bit now! :-)
