About Me

Hi, im Albert! I am 19 years old, love traveling and have been doing so for the last month here in the United States. I graduated from Helsingoer Gymnasium this summer where i studied English, Spanish, Music and Social Science, so this is a gap-year before i go back to Denmark and find out what (and even if) i want to study any further.
I love to go out and meet new people. My main interest is music in many forms. I used to play guitar, but have been moving more and more into producing music the last couple of years. When i am not at home making music, and am out with friends doing some sort of activity (going to shows, hiking or just getting a cup of coffee or a beer).
I am always down to do something, especially if it involves getting coffee somewhere, digging for vinyl or thrift-shopping!
I would describe myself as goofy, but easy-going and down to earth.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have an really easy time talking to people, and i really enjoy meeting people from different culture than my own, so i thought that couchsurfing would be the perfect combinations of those two things.
I like meeting open-minded people, and learning about their interests and culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen mostly to oldschool hip hop, but i am very open to any and every type of music. I really wouldn't know what to choose if i had to choose a favorite musician, but would say that Duality by Captian Murphy is properly one of my all time favorite albums.
I just got around to read the books The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho and Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, which really changed my perspective on a lot of things.
I also enjoy watching movies quite a bit (especially weird 80's scifi).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I really don't know about the most amazing thing i have done. Denmark is a very flat country and i have been getting into hiking a bit more out here, so seeing the world from another perspective (and altitude) have been really amazing though.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am very happy to share some thought on my culture and my views on anything, and would be more than happy to get a good conversation going!
I do love music. Alot. So i would of course be able to talk about that for a very long time, maybe share some obscure facts along the way.
One of the things that this journey has already taught me quite a bit about is personal happiness, and joy in life. I wouldn't say that it is something that i have mastered (yet), but i am slowly getting there. It is something i believe that everybody should be able to experience, so i would definitely share my 2 cents on that!

What I Can Share with Hosts

My other skills include cooking. I used to cook a couple of times a week back home, and would sure love to cook up something nice for you!
I used to be a dishwasher as my first job, so doing the dishes or just generally helping out with anything (and everything) is something i will be happy to do.
I am very open to everybody, and will unquestionably meet you with a smile!

Countries I’ve Visited
