About Me
I am a 22 year-old Catalan boy from a city near Barcelona, even thought that's no longer the place I call home. during 2016 I have been volunteering in the italians Alps during winter, but also in Iceland during the spring and summer season. I travelled for some months in Spain before moving to Germany for the next 5 month. I returned back to Spain just before leaving for my actual bike trip.
As I am very into mountain sports and being outdoors, I spent all the time I can rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, running or doing ski tourism, but also collecting mushrooms, herbs or berries to do some nice homemade marmelade. Also, I spent 2 years in the Pyrenees studying forest managment, and I'm very interested in enviromental education. I try to live my live as green as possible, trying to leave the minimum impact on that Nature that I love so much.
After so many month volunteering, this has become for me a kind of lifestyle. It's super important to spend the time I have on the Earth doing what I like and supporting nice people trying to do from this world a better place. For me, working on a place that they are not sharing my ideology (not that easy to find!) is not worth it, even if I will be rich after doing that. Therefore, volunteering gives me a great opportunity to live my life in an alternative way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
First of all I consider Couchsurfing a great way of connecting travellers with local people, making the experience of travelling a lot more real and intense. Sharing storys and good moments is important :)
Right now I'm travelling by bike, trying to link Barcelona with North Cap, in the very north of Norway, carrying all my stuff with me and just using my legs to move. Since it's a long trip and I come from Spain, the amount of money I can afford to spend at the end of the moth is very very small. I sleep wherever I have to, in my tent, on the grass or under a bridge. But Couchsurfing offers me the possibility of sleeping maybe from time to time somewhere inside, somewhere warm.
I consider myself a very calm, open-minded person who gives a lot of importance to respect. That's the main reason I can assure I will be an incredible guest, always giving my best, since I'm in debt with whoever hosts me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quitting a normal lifestyle to just travell, without a defined end.
Teach, Learn, Share
Travelling is nothing else than learning about other places, other people but more important about oneself. By sharing travelling experiences I can teach other people how to learn about themselves :)
