Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I enjoy reading up on behavioural economics - I'm currently reading Malcolm Gladwell
Movies: I enjoy all genres of film, some of my recent favourites are Whiplash, The Babadook, and Grand Budapest Hotel
Music: I love live music, and Toronto is an amazing place for it. Whether it be local gigs at small, intimate dive bars or massive concerts at sports stadiums, I'll be stoked to be there!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've co-founded a startup tech company in 2015 - our focus was on building a digital platform for improved access and quality of mental health care. From then on, I've been hooked on design and research in health tech!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a couple of interesting hobbies - urban gardening, long boarding, graphic design, and home-brewing kombucha to name a few. I'd love to teach or share anything/everything!
Having been born in Canada from Korean/Chinese parents, I am more than happy to share my cultural knowledge - such as the cheeky Canadian accent (sorry!) or Korean drinking games.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would be more than happy to share stories or have light-hearted conversations over a generous amount of food and drink. I really enjoy cooking as a social activity, and I'm able to cook traditional Korean and Northern Chinese cuisine as well as a couple classic Canadian favourites. I'm also open to keeping my host company with activities or errands :)
