About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To create friendships, and experience the world and other cultures. In all my travels, my fondest memories are not of the landscape, architecture museums-they are of the wonderful people I've come to know and love.
ABOUT ME
I'm currently living in downtown Edmonton with my cat. I've lived in Edmonton my whole life, and I know the city fairly well. I strongly recommend coming here in the summer, because it's so beautiful, and we have festivals on all the time. In the winter, it's a barren arctic wasteland bereft of all living creatures.
I just got back from a 7 month trip to Africa, where AI was volunteering in an orphanage in Uganda. It was an incredible experience, and I highly reccomend seeing Uganda. It's a beautiful, green country with friendly people, not too many tourists yet.
I love bike tours. I just did my first extended one last summer, from here to Jasper (379 km!)and I loved it! I'm really hoping to host some surfers on their own bike tour.
I'm a radical optimist, and I'm doing my part in making this a better world. If you'd like to surf on my couch, you should be comfortable recycling, eating healthy meals, and don't mind a super friendly cat!
PHILOSOPHY
Imagine what the world would be like if we all made every decision according to our own conscience!
Leave the world in better condition than it was when you got here.
