ABOUT ME

I'm a jack of all trades, master of none.

Spanish, born and raised in Barcelona, I am currently living in Switzerland, working with numbers for a big chocolatier, a high risk job... too many sweet sins sorrounding me every day!

I am a dreamer and curious person in all senses and always focus on enjoying the small good things in live; I believe in human kindness and karma. My leitmotiv: try to do good things to the people that sorround you, sometimes just a smile is enough.

I try to be off the beaten path at least once a year, always in company of my camera; I simply adore portrait photography, and when I am travelling, I end up having my SD cards full of different faces and expressions of people to whom I crossed.

PHILOSOPHY

Be open to what life offers me every day. Maybe sometimes I am not living the life I imagined, but keeping positive and open allowed me to be part of amazing experiences and encounter people I would never thought to cross

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started using couchsurfing back in 2007, when I first travelled to Asia.

I have been quite active in CS lately, as I have hosted a few people that were travelling around Switzerland.
I will be glad to have you in my place if I am around and only if you promise to bring good stories to share with me ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have slept in couches in Indonesia, Vietnam & India. The CS people that hosted me were extremely nice and helpful when I was around... that's the extra value of this CS experience, not only having a place to stay, but also to meet locals that end up giving the best tips to move around the city where you are

Photography, particularly portrait.
I can't avoid capturing pictures of people I cross... I end up building my trip memories through the faces I've seen rather than the buildings I visited. And for that, I can always check lonelyplanet!

Currently reading the Norwegian Wood... and I am loving it.

Recent movies I've seen so far that I enjoyed: Drive, Melancholia, the Good Shepherd, From Rome with Love...

I am a sort of a jazzaholic and opera fan, but I do listen to normal music too haha. One of the recent most amazing music discoveries I made, two gorgeous young groups: Beach House and The Shins! Bright future ahead for those 2!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was around Laddakh back in 2010 during the time that the massive floodings affected Northeast Pakistan and North India. My trekking trip around the laddakhi region turned out to be a volunteering trip helping the damaged areas... very unexpected, but intensively positive!
