I am a Ph.D. student and a researcher in Barcelona. Prior to moving to Barcelona, I lived for 7 years in Turkey so I know a thing or two about Turkey and the language. I am one of the many Kenyans that can't run a marathon but I know a thing or two about Kenya and the culture.

Occasionally I travel, sometimes to explore and other times just to change my working environment. Whatever the case, I enjoy meeting locals and the conversations that follow.

I have hosted and been hosted several times and never regretted it.

I am an avid reader, especially about startups and technology. Recommend a book to me and I will read it. Favorite book is definitely Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson (I have read it twice).

Currently, I am trying to watch a lot of Spanish movies in an effort to learn the language and culture.
