I love throwing everything away and forgetting how it ever was a bother in the first place. The Wilderness is up in the mountains— days away from civilization. The food you carry with you, is the only edible thing you know. Loose your bear canister/bag and you may starve. Getting out into the wild, places other things into perspective; nothing is that big of a deal.
Yeah sure real life hurts, a heart ache here, or a grieving moment there. But Life is pretty damn easy. At least when it’s Compared to walking 10 miles for fresh water every other day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to meet new people, especially when you are looking for a friend. Spending time with one another is a healing experience, truth and openness are commodities.

I’ve been on several long trips, sometimes you just need a few laughs man.

Music, Movies, and Books

Last known bands I remember would have to be: The Flaming Lips, and Explosions in the Sky.

My favorite genera of movie is zombie and/or horror, I really get into them and I am such a pansy when it comes to jump scares. I usually try to trick myself into going with things. At times I’ll fake a jump scare/start. 😐

All time favorite book is by Max Brooks: Zombie Survival Guide.
