I am 23 years old and my objective in life is to keep growing all the time. If I have to choose the things that I love most these will be: reading, traveling, playing sports,... Whatever involves a continuous developing of myself.

Art is probably one of my favorite hobby, specially photography. I always carry my camera my with me, trying to steal precises moments to the time.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I have participated in several exchanges with people around Europe, and what I learned there was that everybody has something to teach one another. Last year I was living at Utrecht, surrounded by people from around the world and it was even better. Continuos moving to one place to another, I would like to meet more people from outside the university, from abroad of the places where I live.

Currently living at Baton Rouge and studying at LSU. Let´s start the American adventure!

It is not only about traveling, it is about meeting and sharing all what we are to others.

Interesses

As an student of Journalism, Media and Politics and I love good conversations. I do not care about what, science, literature, politics, economy, art,... I try to learn about everything, because it is the only way to be free.

Of course reading is also one of my passions, just because it can show us how to appreciate properly the world around us. And in this way is how I understand photography, as an attempt to put in pictures when/how/where I see the beauty of the world.

This is the last project that I have been working in. A one day-one-photo idea to figure out what kind of aesthetic I would like to develop. This tumblr works as a "personal diary" where I write with a camera all my impressions here, in the Netherlands.

Music:
Reggae, Soul, Jazz, Rap, Dub,... I am specially interested in black music, but like everything related to those kinds of music. Bands like Fat Freddy´s Drop, Rebelution, Gentleman´s Dub Club, Protoje, Chronixx, Schoolboy Q, Kendrick Lamar, Soja, Groundation, Nneka, Selah Sue,... and so on.

Movies
I am always up for a new movie, director or whatever (As a student of media I am learning how to appreciate more a more cinema, so I am really open minded). Easy Rider, What to do in case of fire, Martin Scorsese´s films, Boyhood, Seven, The Apartment,... Just few examples.

Books
Reading is one of the thing that I like most. Now I am really focus in essays of authors like Michael Sandel, Hayek, Kahneman, Fromm, Baudelaire, Neil Postman, ....

However, this does not mean that I do not like literature. I used to read classics like Kafka, García Márquez, Hemingway, Pío Baroja, Vargas Llosa, Baudelaire, Machado,...

Books have something magic inside.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

I had participated in different volunteering experiences in Morocco, Spain and Poland. I studied abroad last year, in the Netherlands, as a part of the Erasmus exchange program.

Now enjoying a new experience at LSU, Baton Rouge EEUU, for a whole year.

Also I climbed El Teide, the biggest mountain in Spain.
