About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Trying to became the man I want to be

ABOUT ME

I'm a student in Turin where I moved one year ago even if I grew in the countryside near Florence.
I'm a quite active guy that try to catch all the occasions in his life, even if sometimes I'm a little lazy.
All people say I'm too altruistic but I care too much other people to leave them disappointed so I'm ready to share everything I have with those i love.

PHILOSOPHY

The most hard thing in life is living it with consciousness and simplicity, I hope I'll be able to always live like that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Lot's of my friends started to travel using Couchsurfing so I tried it myself when, with one of those friend, we traveled around Germany. I found it the best way to do that, meeting great people and living places where you go like a local do.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only had a trip around Germany contacting people with my friend's account, but I found lots of great people always friendly and happy to help me.

Interests

Usually I spend my time reading and listening to music but the things I really love are photography and cooking.
I like all kind of sports and especially football and climbing (which i just started to practice); moreover I always ride bicycle to move around the city because i think is the best and more fun way to do that.
I'm also started trying to write tales inspired by peoples i met or things i experienced.
In the end I can't really live far from nature so I try to get all the occasions to escape from the city and go walking in woods or in the countryside.

Music, Movies, and Books

I look lots of movies and go to the cinema at least once a week, my favorites directors are Tarantino, Kubrick, the Coen brothers, Woody Allen (the ones in which he still act) and lots more.
I love rock music especially if a little experimental and i usually listen to: Radiohead, Bonobo, Van Halen, The Cure, The Chemical Brothers, Porcupine Tree, Gorillaz, some Italian musician and of course all 70' greatest bands (Pink Floyd, Genesis, Led Zeppelin, ecc..).
As books I prefer novels and detective stories and in particular I love Sepùlveda, Hamingway and Simenon (for his Commissaire Maigret), but also Italian writers such Svevo and Pirandello.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent my last holidays camping in a completely isolated wood on the Tuscan sea with some friend fishing and climbing rocks just to find places where to dive, the simplest and funniest time I've ever had.
I passed the Honduras border following a river with a canoe and crossing a swamp completely covered of water lily while lots of flamingos took flight when saw me.
