HI THERE! My name is Alberto, I am 22 years old and I am a currently an exchange student from MADRID, SPAIN at the University of Technology Sydney for the Spring Semester (such a small amount of time, i knooww ;(( ) therefore living in Sydney!!

As you probably are as well, I am a Traveling fanatic. I have had the luck to travel all around the world and I have been to all continents by now! Oceania was the one missing and now that i am here (and well Antartica neither).

I've had a couple of couchsurfing experiences when I was traveling in the US 2 years ago and it was SUCH an incredible experience. I have even kept in touch with most of my hosts. I still live with my parents in Madrid and it's been hard for me to try convince them to host people but as soon as I get to live by myself I will be hosting people for sure.

I am a really sociable and friendly guy, I love being around people, getting to know them and know about their life stories and life. I am an Economics and Law major studying in the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (in case it rings a bell to you)

My dream is to do a full trip around the globe for one year after I graduate so in like 2 years, maybe through couch surfing.. who knows!!

Also, I am a decent cook so if you host me I will gladly cook some spanish dish to you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My and my family have hosted several exchange students and Au pair people from all over europe (especially France since me and my sister studied in a French school (now you know that too)
I found it so enriching to have been able to do such an exchange and could also provide me with some nice people to get to know and some adventures I will never forget.

Music, Movies, and Books

Absolute Lord of the Rings Fan.
Soccer (European football) is my big passion although i love watching and practicing most sports too.
I enjoy reading, specially in different languages like french and Englsih

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the two most incredible things I have done were traveling to Nepal and India and to go on a Safari in Africa.
Backpacking for one month with my friends after High School was a big moment in my life.
