Hello there! My name is Alberto: I am a Spanish / English teacher and Youtuber from Mexico!

I am currently working as an English teacher but have decided to start travelling a bit more whenever I have the chance! I want to start Vlogging in the places I visit and I am open to meeting new people too! Not on the romantic side, though, my girlfriend might not like that ;). I will usually be traveling with her as well by the way. We are a very chill couple willing to meeting up, hanging out and just overall having new experiences and an awesome time with folks from all around the world. Please check my current trip to see if we can do something together.

We are not picky about the place to stay, as long as it's not outside on the street we are cool with whatever surface you have where we can crash for the night (or nights if you'll have us!)

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

So I used couchsurfing back in the 2012s-2013s ish. Oh god, has it really been 10 years? Jeez. Anyway, my girlfriend convinced me to come back and use the website once more as that travel bug has bitten once again so here I am!

For the next 2 years 2022-2024 I will most likely be living in Japan traveling the country while I work and conduct educational research on language acquisition. Since I'll be staying for a while, I am planning to see as much of the country as possible. So any Japanese hosts or people living in Japan willing to let me stay with them would be greatly appreciated. I haven't mastered Japanese but I'm getting there!

Música, películas y libros

I love anime, comic books, geeky stuff in general. I also love detective dramas and food for though books. My favorite music is usually instrumental, post rock and that kind of chill / immersive music.

I believe these are cool / interesting things I have done:

- Winning a comic book translation contest
- Winning a scholarship to work as a Spanish teacher at a university in London
-Having a Youtube channel with over 300k subscribers
-Written a book (available on Amazon) called "De cero a políglota"
-Releasing 2 music albums on Spotify and Apple Music under the name of Sopa de Dinosaurio
-Learnt 6 languages and counting :D
-Worked as a translator/interpreter for Spanish-English-German in different car companies.
