About Me

Hi! My name is Albina and I am an exchange student from Russia. I was born in Siberia where sometimes bears walk along the streets! Such a fun story to tell! As a kid I was interested in learning English so that’s why I decided to become an interpreter.

When I was 18 y.o. I moved to another city for studying. So, I have lived in Ufa (Russia) for two years.

This April I won a scholarship giving me an opportunity to study in U.S. for the whole year. So, now I’m here and I’m so excited to learn more about this culture and to meet new people!

I like meeting new people and I’ll be really happy to make friends in America!

So, in my free time I like spending time with my family or friends, singing in a choir, learning languages, watching tv shows, blogging and etc.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m so excited to spend the whole year in America, to travel and to meet new people.
I know that Americans have some stereotypes about Russian people, as Russians do too. So, isn’t it time to break stereotypes? I’m sure we can do it together!
