ABOUT ME

I am a strategic communications and campaign specialist who works for an environmental non-profit . I also provide freelance graphic design and communications services . I am a political and philosophical person who likes nothing better than drinking a beer I've never had before and debating the most ideal future course this planet should be on. I love my city and I love my country, and I love sharing things about both of them.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is one of interconectiveness (if that's even a word) We are all inter-connected, and as such, can depend on anyone, learn from anyone, and help anyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I did this kinda couch surfing experience. I was on a youth exchange program called Canada World Youth on which I lived with a host family for 3 months in a small community called Penticton in British Columbia. I then went to Mozambique and did the same for another 3 months.

Lived for 6 months with 17 other youth from 3 countries on 2 continents. I'm telling you, it gets crazy!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love all things political. I don't know if i'd call myself a teacher, but I love discussions that can lead to more knowledge, understanding, and awareness for all. I also love cooking, and learning about food from all over the world is a great hobby of mine! So email me a favorite recipe of yours, and i'll email you one of mine! Oh! And anything you want to know about Canada (travelling, working, anything...) I'd love to help out. Like most Canadians, I love to help others learn more about my country. As far as learning, I always want to know more about world events. I think that the media is horrible, all over the world. They have their own agendas when what they should be doing is just passing along knowledge. I would love to speak to everyday, world citizens about the events and politics happening in their nations. Getting first hand information is key to building world knowledge and awareness.
