I am an easy-going person, who likes travelling, playing Basketball, watching japanese Anime, learning always something new and looking at the stars and the Universe that surround us.

After spending 26 years of my life in Italy where I obtained a Degree in Astronomy, I moved 4 years to Germany. There I came in contact with the CS community. I met different people and I got the idea of a world trip which I started after finishing my PhD in November 2015.

I planned to come back after an year but immediately after few days of travel I realised that I want to travel longer. The year has become two. After 2 months in South-East Asia and one year in New Zealand now I am in South America since February 2017.

Soy una persona simple, que le gusta viajar, jugar basquetbol, ver Anime japoneses, aprender siempre algo nuevo y observar las estrellas y el universo al rededor de nosotros.

Despues de 26 años de mi vida en Italia donde recibi el titulo en Astronomia, me mude 4 años a Alemania. Alla vine en contacto con la comunidad de CS. Encontre diferentes personas y tuve la idea de un viaje al rededor del mundo que empece luego de haber terminado mi Doctorado en el noviembre 2015.

Planee de regresar despues de un ano pero inmediatamente luego de pocos dias de viaje realize que queria viajar mas tiempo. El año se transformo en dos. Despues de 2 meses en el Sur Este Asiatico y un ano en Nueva Zelanda ahora estoy en Latino America desde febrero 2017.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Driving overnight in the Death Valley (with temperature showing 108 F), reaching Vegas and driving back for the sunrise to the Death Valley without sleeping
- Walking with elephants in Sen Monorom
- Swimming in the Infinity Pool of the Marina Bay Sands hotel in Singapore
- Swimming in a hot waterfall in Reporoa, swimming with dolphins in Akaroa, whale watching in Kaikoura, rafting close to the Peel Forest and Bungee jumping in Queenstown. Spending one night at a Maori's house without water and electricity, spending one night on a boat
- Going to the 30th anniversary of Saint Seiya in Tokyo and sleeping in a Manga Cafe in Osaka

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share the experience of my travels and I can talk about Astronomy.

If you want to hear about stars and galaxies, and different other strange objects, maybe I can tell you something about. Or if you want to learn how to take some night pictures I can give some advice.

I can speak Italian, English, German and Spanish almost fluently (valid for all 4 languages, Italian included :P ) and I have some basic knowledge in Japanese. I tried to start learning Esperanto because I like the idea of an universal language which is not a language that already exists. And I am also trying to learn Portuguese and French, so it would be nice to meet somebody who speaks some of these languages.

Puedo compartir la experiencia de mi viaje y hablar sobre Astronomia.

Si quieres escuchar sobre estrellas y galaxias, y diferentes otros raros objetos, puedo explicar un poco sobre eso. O si quieres aprender como tomar fotos nocturnas puedo dar algunos consejos.

Puedo hablar italiano, ingles, aleman y español casi fluido (valido por todos los 4 idiomas, italiano incluydo :P ) y tengo conocimiento basico de Japones. Intente de aprender esperanto por que me gusta la idea de un idioma universal que no sea un idioma que ya existe. Estoy intentando de aprender Portugues y frances, asi que seria interesante encontrar alguien que hable estos idiomas.
