About Me

CURRENT MISSION

this doesn't really matter does it? december 21, 2012 is around the corner...

ABOUT ME

i'm an easygoing person, and get along with most people. love travelling, meeting new people, seeking new adventures and challenges. don't get fazed easily... but piss me off and expect a flykick to the head.

PHILOSOPHY

life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the places and moments that take our breath away (cliche but i think its absolutely true!)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books

movies? i don't get to watch them often, no time! babel and 300 would be on my list of good movies i've seen recently (well, they'd be about the only movies i've seen in the last few months), and as for all-time favourites it's difficult! the shawshank redemption and american history x would be high on that list though. music? i listen to a huge variety of music, from alternative/rock to breaks/drum n bass/miami bass (depends on my mood) but i love hip hop though... talib, mos def, common, kanye, the roots, pete rock... old school r&b and rap does it for me too (i can't stand the poppy/gangsta crap) books? in the last couple of months i have not read a single book outside of the prescribed textbooks i've gotta read for uni. all time favourites? we'd be here for a long while...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

travelling in general has changed my life, countless crazy experiences and people... it's almost impossible to pinpoint just one amazing thing. i've gotta admit, my first night in moscow left me pretty rattled, i'm glad i got through it

Teach, Learn, Share

believe me, java and mathematics are the last things that anyone would want to learn. learning is fun though (well, apart from maths and programming) and i've got a fascination for foreign languages, i'd like to be conversational in as many languages as possible

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Bahamas, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Monaco, Netherlands, Netherlands Antilles, Norway, Philippines, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Russian Federation, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Vatican City State, Virgin Islands, U.S.
