About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Creative and Imaginative

ABOUT ME

Firstly, I am here to make new friends, NOT to find PARTNERS!!!... Now that I've got THAT off my chest; lol... I'm a very positive person, and always on the outwatch for trying something new and going new places. I love everything about life and its learning experiences. I am extremely passionate about everything I do...no one could EVER accuse me of doing anything by halves!! :), I just love getting to know people from different cultures to exchange our culture together, especially for getting different perspectives for the world around us
Here's a typical day in the life of Hamzah... Wake up by 6am to allow enough time to walk for one hour and back to take a shower, make my breakfast, as well as get ready for work (and check emails). Leave for work around 09:00. Leave work around 17:00, sort out tea, and, generally head off to some kind of Music Rehearsal... or, occasionally, Hospitality work. Weekends for going with friends dance, drink and talk, the sitting in the middle of nature that I love, swimming, Camping, Fishing, Boating, Bushwhacking , Hunting or anything else I have the time (lol) to squeeze in!!

PHILOSOPHY

Everything in life happens for a reason. Every negative experience is something to learn from and help others to overcome. Never, EVER, give up! :D

ECHO OF LIFE

A man and his son were walking in the forest. Suddenly the boy trips and feeling a sharp pain he screams, "Ahhhhh."

Surprised, he hears a voice coming from the mountain, "Ahhhhh!"

Filled with curiosity, he screams: "Who are you?", but the only answer he receives is: "Who are you?"

This makes him angry, so he screams: "You are a coward!", and the voice answers: "You are a coward!"

He looks at his father, asking, "Dad, what is going on?"

"Son," the man replies, "pay attention!" Then he screams, "I admire you!"

The voice answers: "I admire you!"

The father shouts, "You are wonderful!", and the voice answers: "You are wonderful!"

The boy is surprised, but still can't understand what is going on.

Then the father explains, "People call this 'ECHO', but truly it is 'LIFE!' Life always gives you back what you give out! Life is a mirror of your actions. If you want more love, give more love! If you want more kindness, give more kindness! If you want understanding and respect, give understanding and respect! If you want people to be patient and respectful to you, give patience and respect! This rule of nature applies to every aspect of our lives."

Life always gives you back what you give out.
Your life is not a coincidence,
but a mirror of your own doings.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music:
I love ALL types of Music, particularly songs with a 'story' and real 'meaning',
Je n'ai pas changé - Julio Iglesias
Lemon Tree - Fool's Garden

Favorite TV Shows:
I don't have much time for TV but when I do it's: NCIS, CSI, Oprah Show, Dr. Phil and Worldwide.

Favorite Movies:
I'm a ''sucker' for a drama movies (The pursuit of happyness, Forrest Gump, The Soloist, etc).
In fact the action movies I fall in love with it too, particularly where the lead does all their own stunts (Jackie Chan, Angelina Jolie, etc).
Oooh, and of course the romantic, heart-string-tuggers, like Shrek, Titanic, P.S: I love you and of course Troy as It had everything for everyone: war and hate, romance, action, drama...also the greatest for me A Knight's Tale "this is the story of William, a young squire with a gift for jousting. After his master dies suddenly, the squire hits the road with his cohorts Roland and Wat. On the journey, they stumble across an unknown writer, Chaucer. William, lacking a proper pedigree, convinces Chaucer to forge genealogy documents that will pass him off as a knight. With his newly-minted history in hand, the young man sets out to prove himself a worthy knight at the country's jousting competition, and finds romance along the way."

and another of favorites is "Thirteenth Warrior" starring Antonio Band-eras as an Arabian poet turned holy man, and showing Arabs in a much more favorable light than most movies tend to... be warned however, it also has its fair share of 'blood and guts', as he is called upon to come to the aide of a Barbarian village being terrorized by an unspeakable horror...
And don’t forget animated movies (Shrek, Monsters Inc, Ice Age, Final Fantasy, etc)

Favorite Books:
The Gabriel Method...the most fascinating 'lifestyle' book I have ever read...Google it!!; Also, the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People", an INCREDIBLE book about developing the right habits, that WILL have an amazingly positive impact on Anyone in ANY situation!!!! If you could only have, or read, 3 books in your lifetime, I would DEFINITELY make these 2 of those 3!!!!
