Intelligent, Secular Liberal originally from New Orleans. Photographer by passion, airplane pilot as money allows, and doctor to put food on the table. I love meeting new people, and I am constantly searching for good countries to escape to should we elect a series of republicans to high office in this country.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm still new to this, so will be meeting people and maybe couchsurf as time allows.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None through this site, but I did spend 6 weeks in Sweden camping and staying on a friend's couch. I sorely miss it.

兴趣

I hold a commercial pilot's license, though I don't have the money to fly much right now. I do a lot of photography with my pro level DSLR and lenses, mainly for fun, but occasionally for hire. The web site on this profile goes to my Flickr account with some of my photos uploaded. I'm a doctor, so medical stuff interests me, too.

I have all of Metric's albums and can say they are probably my favorite band. "Up in the Air" is one of my favorite movies - I like ambiguity in my entertainment. I've recently discovered the podcast "Night Veil" and am enjoying it. I have a large collection of books that I have read through my lifetime, many of which are important to me for various reasons - far too many to list here.

I spent a week hiking north of the arctic circle in Sweden, including hiking up Mt Kebnekaise, the tallest mountain in Sweden. It was one of my favorite experiences, in all its beauty and pain.
