ABOUT ME

So, I grew up in Russia and then I moved to Norway, just because I wanted to move somewhere.
As long as I remember myself I always had a hobby. When I was a child I was drawing a lot - many hours a day. I still like to draw, but do it very rarely. When I grew up I started assembling plastic models of planes, ships etc. I do not remember what was so exciting about it, but I managed to fill all my room with models back then. There were 50 of them or something like that. For a short period I was doing soldering. After that I started playing guitar. I played a lot, at some point I even overstressed my arm, so that I had a break for a month. And then I realized I don't want to play anymore, don't know why. I knew I wanted to do ballroom dancing now. So I went to the dance studio, and kept dancing for next six years. I was really crazy about it, trained a lot, and went to competitions constantly. And I also worked full time, so it was like with guitar - too much stress, I broke down a bit, and had to stay at home for a month. And then I thought I do not want to die young because of overdancing, so I quit. After that I couldn't really find a hobby anymore. So for last two years I'm keeping myself busy with my job mostly. But I still feel that something is missing, so I'm waiting.

PHILOSOPHY

I agree with an ancient Greek guy who said: "To be happy means to be able to exercise your talents without being disturbed" (or something like that, and maybe the guy wasn't Greek, whatever!!)

-programming - that's actually my job
-reading - I enjoyed reading novels once, now I read my norwegian coursebook
-graphic novels and comics
-psychology - I love reading psychology books and noticing whether my friends and have any psychological diseases or not
-aquariums - that's the first place I would go in a new city. For some reasons I enjoy watching at big fishes (especially love sharks)

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Once I was in Barcelona, and I just came to the hotel, and I was tired, so I just immediately went to sleep. When I woke up and drew the curtains - I saw Industrial Park just below the hotel, with those freaking light towers and stuff. And the sun was shining so bright. It felt like a different planet.
