Overview
About Me
An introverted, portly, Indonesian bilingual. I can be shy and aloof sometimes, but I do realize I have this side of myself that’s just... chaotic neutral. I’d say I’m quite open to new experiences. I love the comfortable confines of home, but will not turn down the chance for adventure. I generally steer away from big crowds, but an intimate conversation with a small group of friends is what I’m looking for.
When traveling I like to have this mindset where it should be less about taking pretty pictures and more about learning and growing as a person.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m looking for travel buddies; fellow travelers and/or locals alike to have great talks over a cup of coffee/pint of beer. Will join events and meetups to pass the time.

Music, Movies, and Books
Not much of a reader, but I do love me some history and philosophy books. Currently reading Marcus Aurelius’ ‘Meditations’ and Thoreau’s ‘Walden’. Don’t mind reading the classics.
Not a movie person, I’m more of a TV fanatic. Love “The Last Airbender” and “The Legend of Korra”, “Bob’s Burgers”, “Westworld”, and Mike Schur’s “The Office”, “Parks and Recreation”, “Brooklyn 99”, and “The Good Place”. Also like British panel shows and a few Netflix originals.
I love music as a listener. I love Shoegaze, Vaporwave, a little bit of R ‘n B, Neo-psych rock, Hip-hop, good old Electropop, and even Classical, specifically Baroque era. Favourite artists include Röyksopp, Cut Copy, Miami Horror, Childish Gambino, CLUBZ, Tame Impala, and Martha Argerich.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve slept under the stars on a boat on Sekonyer River in Borneo, paraglided in Padang, snorkeled in Lampung, and fell in love with volunteering.
