About Me
One of the most difficult question today: Where Are You From?!
For me, it's not a one-word answer and I could go on a hour-long monologue trying to explain.
And the most interesting thing is: I am not the only one! :)
So, long story short: I was born and then grew up in Jakarta, where my mother originates from. And at the age of 15, I attended school in Singapore where I lived for 4 years. Then, for university, I moved to Zurich to live with my Swiss father.
I am glad to be able to identify myself with all the places I've lived in, and still travel regularly to and fro in order to visit family and friends.
I hope this has given you a taste of who I am. ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that getting to know locals and seeing what they do in a foreign place is the best way to learn another culture. Thus, I try to host when I can to share this experience with people who visit the beautiful city called Zurich.
Interests
I like watching and doing sports. I play basketball regularly at the university. And I spent an unhealthy amount of time watching Boston Celtics and Liverpool FC matches.
I like drinking good coffee and beer.
Playing games is also one of my favorite pastimes: FIFA, Fallout, Portal, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Do you know what a Komodo Dragon is?
If you don't, google it.
During one of my travels in Indonesia, I got to visit the Komodo's natural habitat. From what I heard from the guide, I am 100% convinced that a Komodo will win any fight with any other land-roaming creature on this earth.
Coming very close to the Komodos and still being able to live and tell the story, I think that qualifies as being amazing. ;)
Fortunately, the Komodos are cold blooded and could die if their blood boils from staying too long under the sun. Otherwise we won't have the world as we know it now. And it really shows that something's gotta give. :p
PS: I really recommend going to the island of Flores in Indonesia for travelling and seeing the Komodos. One of the most beautiful places I have visited in my life.
