P:my girlfriend is very social and polite person, when she finds time for that in her busy schedule. i(even though have much more spare/sleepless time) am not as cool as her but i try my best and if it doesn't work out then keep quiet and to myself, so no worries

M:i agree with that, what i can say more is that "i love to talk about Paris", probably like a lot of parisians do!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

mostly hosting but sometimes we travel a bit as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

P:i was couchsurfing on my own(without this website) from vilnius to siberia once.
visited quite a lot of cities there though, went hitchhiking 5000km with trucks and stuff.

As of cs, we hosted quite a lot of people already, and we became good friends and still keep in touch with some of them. We didn't surf much though, just few times. Lack of time..

Interessen

P:i like internet and nature and aquariums. and movies sometimes.

M:For my part, i am interested in writing, like making pictures, walking in the streets, sometimes i can get interested in psychanalysis, astrology, outsider art.

Books: Pavel absolutely stopped reading few years ago, but he'll always remember those guys:

Marjorie: Reading is one of my favorite hobby... Maupassant, Flaubert, Christian Bobin, Boulgakov, Dostoïevski sometimes poetry.

Music: Pavel - few of favorites were - tiny tim, in gowan ring, marissa nadler, sibylle baier, ernesto tomassini, joy division, current 93, vashti bunyan, kazuki tomokawa, institut, brighter death now, nico, ait!, grazhdanskaya oborona, death in june, spk, deutsch nepal, karjalan sissit, boyd rice.
genrewise: punk, industrial, neofolk, noise, neocabaret, martial, apocalyptic folk, dark ambient, psychedelic folk, freakfolk, etc

Movies: a lot

tv series we both liked:
mighty boosh, peep show, big bang theory, firefly, summer snow, league of gentlemen, psychoville, it crowd(starting from 2nd season), animal/vegetable/space documentaries, let the blood run free, robin hood from sherwood, lexx, twin peaks, summer heights high, battlestar galactica

cartoons: berserk, superjail, aqua teen hunger force, korgoth the barbarian, futurama, herushingu, monster

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

P:i did construction work in russia, farming/fishing in iceland, and i went through fireman courses in iceland, that was fun! i'd say iceland was general fun in my life.
i also did yachtman's courses in poland about 10 years ago.
marjorie did a lot of diving and horseriding. i did some horseriding too but just a bit, also in iceland)

we also went on few motorbike trips in west africa. ouagadougou-bamako, and ouagadougou-cotonou. generally that was fun!

P:my girlfriend is french teacher! as of me - i think i still prefer to be a student.

M:The girlfriend spent more time as a student than as a teacher!
