About Me
I'm a 28 year old Engineer who just got his M. Eng. at the University of Toronto and also happens to be a musician! I love going out on adventures, travel to distant places, have great experiences, exchange ideas with people from all across the globe and learn about different cultures.
I first heard of couchsurfing through a friend who's a real globetrotter, he's been to many different places and has always stayed with locals. Inspired by his stories, I decided to give this a try!
So far, I've traveled to most of Mexico, the U.S., Canada, Japan, and Europe too (around 18 in total). I'm a foodie, so if you take me in, I'll buy dinner in exchange =)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As I said before, it all comes down to meeting new people and living new things. I happen to live in a city (Toronto) that has a big immigrant population with different backgrounds, so I'm willing to give couchsurfing a shot to get to know interesting people.
In the short term, i'll do my best to host people once I get my own apartment, there's really a lot to see in Toronto!
Interests
As a kid, I always enjoyed reading history books, specifically about the ancient world's most important cities (Rome, Istanbul, Paris, London). The evolution of these metropolis has always been something fascinating for me.
Aside from being a bookworm, I'm also into architecture! my favorite cities are the ones who have most skyscrapers in them! the taller they are, the better! my favorite building is the Chrysler Building, its art deco facade is fascinating :)
I'm also a little bit into politics, but my 'politics' can be summed up in: Live and let live. It's hard to live in Mexico without talking about politics, football and religion (it's like these three are taboo hahah).
Also among my interest is...Music! Whether it's opera, a good orchestra or a great street musician, i'm always up to listening to them. During some of my travels, I have learned a lot of a country's culture by the music and instruments they play!

I'm a huge science fiction so anything by asimov, Arthur C. Clarke or Phillip K. Dick is perrrfffect
...as for my favorite movie, that's a tough question but i'd say Blade Runner. I'm definitely into sci-fi
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Graduated from mechatronics hahaha. Joking aside, I think my biggest achievement so far is playing at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, one of the biggest venues in the capital with a capacity of 15 000 people!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm always up for a great conversation :P i'm willing to share my experiences as a citizen of what used to be the most dangerous city in the world and, most importantly, learn from everyone else around the globe. I'm pretty certain everyone's got a story to tell, and i'd like to hear as many.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great chats, if you have a violin i'd like to play it! also, as I said before, we should definitely go to the best italian restaurant in town cuz dinner's on me!
