Hi, I'm Aleah. American currently living in the suburbs of Paris with my boyfriend. I love traveling, but more than anything, I love meeting new people and learning from them... culture, food, music, etc. I'm a professional freelance graphic designer and Wordpress developer. Worked in marketing for a number of years and am now just exploring the freedom of freelance work. Really just a happy person when outdoors, soaking up every experience I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've recently fell in love with traveling and spent some time in France couchsurfing before going back to the US. While staying in hotels is comfortable, I've realized that the amount I can learn from meeting new people is immense. Even though I'm a little more settled myself now, I'm excited to begin hosting guests at our new apartment in Neuilly-sur-Marne to continue sharing experiences with travelers.

Love all music, and Minneapolis does it well. Prince, Atmosphere, Brother Ali. Others... Ryan Adams, Andrew Bird, Creedence Clearwater Revival.

It's embarrassing the number of classic movies I have not seen, but again, I like mostly everything. Clue and Clueless among the top. I believe this shows my range.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I enjoy meeting new people and spending time exploring new cities. I am happy to practice speaking English or French with anyone willing to host. I also enjoy having conversations around different cultures, food, and sports.
