Hi everyone, my name is Alec and I'm from the Netherlands. While being a student, I try to enjoy life to the fullest. For me traveling is a big part of that. I am a social person who enjoys meeting other backpackers and locals to have the best time possible. Besides that, I also love to cook. Asian cuisine is definitely my favorite. To finish it up, I am a big sportsman. I play and watch a lot of tennis and would love make a living out of this later on in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite band is Coldplay. I've been to a couple concerts but it never gets boring. Besides Coldplay and some other artists, I love to hear local music while traveling. For me it really adds up to the full experience.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The one amazing thing I've done is visiting one of the 7 wonders of the world: the Petra. I can't describe how special it felt when all of a sudden, a 30 meter high monastery is standing in front of you.
