Taught English abroad in Korea for 2 years and I've been to Russia, New Zealand and Japan. Had an absolute wonderful time in each of them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In Osaka I got a Japanese chef whom I never met before to give me a free meal, then pay for drinks, then hit up the town for a night of epic drinking until 6am. He taught me this phrase "ichigo iichi". One time, one meeting. Basically Japanese version of yolo but less played out
