Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have an incredible interest in people, places, skills, and food. Couchsurfing is the whole variety in one place, in every place. How can I pass that up?It's such a great opportunity to be apart of this community.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm really into media, I like to live my life like it's a book or a movie. I love old movies, mainly 1950's and 60's but I'm pretty up to date on the new stuff too.

Movies:
My favorite movie is definitely the 1964 epic Ben Hur although my friends will probably tell you I'm the biggest James Bond fan out there. What can I say, I like spy movies. I love anything with Eva Green, Maureen O'Hara, or Audrey Tautou. Also anything with Sean Connery, John Wayne, or Russell Crowe. I watch a lot of Mad Men and Doctor Who.

Literature:
I read mostly non-fiction but I do read enough novels and poetry to fit in with the well read. My favorites include authors Ernest Hemingway, Ian Fleming (naturally), Rudyard Kipling, Dylan Thomas, and Ayn Rand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Adventure sports are my thing. I've been on extended backpacking trips in Alaska, New Mexico, Yosemite, Yellowstone. Currently I'm cycling across the United States!
