About Me

CURRENT MISSION

"To boldly go where no ones gone before".......
but for real I'm really just trying to have a good time, be kind, see this beautiful world and all the lovely people in it :)

My lovely partner Molly (profile below) and I did a one year trip through some exciting new places all around the world. We’re currently planning and going on shorter trips and hosting in between.
We can’t wait to see more of this incredible planet.

PHILOSOPHY

This is a hard one for me to nail down to words because I think my philosophy in life, like a lot of people's, changes and grows. but I'd say the base of my philosophy in life is love. Love for each other and love for yourself. Another big one for me is being in touch with yourself. For me that means knowing who I am, being in control of myself and being aware of my strengths and weakness.
Another big one in my book is the concept that life is too short to take too seriously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Growing up my family “Hosted” lots of people but never through the app. We’d have hitchhikers stay with us or friends of friends who needed a place most often. My partner Molly and I have done the same before we left home, and loved it. :)
Now that we’re back we’ve finally be able to start to return the favor to this amazing community!
Hosting is a blast and we love being able to do what others did for us.

Our travels as surfers has been amazing! But we can not wait to get a home of our own and host officially so we will be able to give back to this community some of the immense kindness and warm welcomes that it has shown us.

^ Hey! Now we’re home and we’re hosting!

I also plan on starting some CS meet-up in Boise so if you’re reading this and in Boise check the events!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been nothing but incredible. We Couchsurfed on and off for about 8 months while we were traveling and I just can't believe the heart of this community. Thank you to all you great people out there!

Now that we’re home, we love being able to return the favor and host people who want to come check out our amazing home town of Boise!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Haven't died yet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to trade ideas, views and perspective about anything in life.

I love to teach and talk coffee! I was a Barista, Coffee manager Roaster and Coffee Technician for years in my hometown so it's been a hobby/job of mine for a lot of my life.

I'd love to learn more about nearly anything.
It may sound generic but I'm genuinely interested in most things people have to say. I catch passion pretty easily so if you're passionate about something I'm drawn to it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

laughs, stories, card games and great conversation!
I can cook very basic food, I'm great with dishes, and have been called the guy that can fix anything. I really do enjoy fixing things as silly as it may sound and I've been told I have a knack for it.

So I'd honestly be happy to help with anything I can.
