I'm Alec, I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO. I'm a photographer who loves travel, beaches, pools...any excuse to get me near some water one way or another!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the people in this community! From my experience, they are the most well versed, humble, interesting people on the planet.

I'm currently working temporarily for a band based out of LA, doing a little touring, and a lot of normal normal 9-5 daytime work for them. I plan to be in LA until mid-September, and have been actively been looking for a more permanent place to stay, but the sublet apartments I've found around here have been tough to accommodate my situation. I drove out from St. Louis with just my clothes and a few personal belongings, so have been particular about finding a space that is already furnished.

Interests

Anything camera related, beaches, hammocks, topless Jeeps, topless women, good foods, humble people.

Scar Tissue, Modern Romance, Insatiable...I live reading about the inner workings of the entertainment industry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was once part of the worlds largest guitar jam session! Thousands of people gathered in Kansas City to play smoke on the water in unison! Such a fun experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to share my knowledge on taking photos to anyone willing to listen. I am working on growing my videography skills as well, so anyone willing to help me learn would be greatly appreciated! I have been a very outdoors kind of person, with experience in kayaking/canoeing, camping, hiking and all. I am super grateful the weather here in California is nicer than in Missouri.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would be happy to share a utility bill with a host, companionship, or time/labor. Though I am working for a music label out here, my time throughout the days can be spent however I choose, and would be very willing to help wherever possible.
