ABOUT ME

I love travelling, there is so much to see out from where we are used to live! I would love to be able to visit as much as I can, but a lifetime isn´t enough! so I prefer to get to know deeper a place (which means not only the atmosphere, the sightseeings, but also the people living there and what they have to say, their particular view of life..). I want to learn as much as I can about people from different places or from the same place I come from!:-), we are so different and at the same time share so many things! It´s fantastic to meet open-minded people willing to share some time having a conversation, exchaging opinions about whatever! see you somewhere,maybe! :-)

I´m also part of HC (hospitality club)which promotes the same values as CS about helping people travelling and getting to know them so as to enrich each other with our different cultures, ways of thinking, views of life...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When we tell people that we didn’t spend a single dollar for a place to stay n we stayed at the house of a total stranger that we connected with on the internet – they all tend to make the same face. It’s a mixture of curiosity, concern, and alarm. What if the host was an ax murder? Could I just not afford a hotel room?

Then I explain the premise behind CouchSurfing.com. At its most basic, the website connects those who need a place to stay while traveling to those willing to take someone in.

But CouchSurfing isn’t just about the furniture. The official mission of the nonprofit organization is: CouchSurfing seeks to internationally network people and places, create educational exchanges, raise collective consciousness, spread tolerance, and facilitate cultural understanding. The idea being that if you stay with a local, you’ll connect more authentically and gain a better understanding of the culture and have a more enriched experience....!

Interests

I like meeting new people,from different cultures. If I had time I would love to learn more languages, I like hearing them even if I don´t understand!(that´s why I go to original version cinemas -where you can read subtitles and hear the real emotions of the actors as you understand the situation :-))
Currently doing my best with a dive in Hindi language...what a challenge!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I participated in big meetings with people from many different nationalities!
Amazing experience, but deep more because of all the friends we made, and even if there´s distance in space and time, we know we´ll meet again somewhere somehow!

Teach, Learn, Share

Wow, i don´t know what I could teach...I guess that´s to decide on the people we find, if they find something that I could teach them I would be happy to show it the best I can :-) but maybe ( Spanish/ Universal History / Geography )

I´ve soo sooo but soooo much to learn and discover!!!!neverending list (play guitar, piano, to sing -though I think the world would appreciatte if I don´t even try,jejeje-, write, act in theatre plays, languages, handcrafts, the `hand language´to communicate with deafs, cooking dishes from the places I visit, local expressions,...
