ABOUT ME

I graduated from the Univ of North Texas with a degree in music composition, but after 6 years of music school, my passion became my job, so I decided to take a hiatus. I wanted to travel Europe, but fell in love and decided to wait for my girlfriend.. while we waited, I worked at a video store and realized I want to write scripts, direct, be a cinematographer, edit and compose the score for my own films.

I don't know what I want but I want to write, and to write I need some life experiances.

As dumb as it sounds, when I saw Motorcycle Diaries, it felt like THAT is what I had to do. So I packed a bag, left everything and everyone (including my future wife) behind and came to Europe with a credit card.

PHILOSOPHY

Interests

I LOVE film, Darren Aronofsky, Wes Anderson, Jean Pierre Jeaunet, Michel Gondry, Akira Kurosawa, etc... I like movies a LOT. ALL movies from Citizen Kane to Karate Kid to A Very Long Engagment to Short Circuit.

I loved music VERY much, but due to some issues music school has given me (took my passion and left me with anxiety of composing) am currently taking a hiatus.

I know my music theory and I can help anyone who wants to learn how to write music using theory, in the most simple and basic manner (in other words I won't bombard with endless theory... just what's needed)
