Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm new to the airline world, so I'm taking advantage of my new-found travel benefits to see the world in a way I am able to afford. Also, I prefer to get to know the city/town from the perspective of a local rather than my hotel room.

Renaissance-ish. I take interest in many things, especially if it involves the outdoors, traveling, music, or sports.

I am a certificated flight instructor in the United States, and have taught regular folks to fly small two and four seat aircraft in the Seattle area.

In addition, I am also a volunteer drumming instructor with my local pipe band and have been playing drums for over 10 years.
