Hey I'm Aleea, I come from Brisbane, Australia. At the moment I work backstage and direct theatre and performances as well as teaching drama to children.

I love singing, playing guitar, cooking, jewellery making and other arts and crafts. I am super social and love getting involved in community events and going to live gigs and performances. I love sports such as swimming and soccer as well as exploring nature and hiking. I like spontaneous adventures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am Couchsurfing because in my share house we hosted heaps of Couchsurfers and we always had so much fun, I'd really like to have that experience while I'm traveling. I think that Couchsurfing is an amazing opportunity to meet people and see what peoples lives are like in different places.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of different music genera's, but some of my favourite bands include The Cold War Kids, PJ Harvey, OutKast and Mattafix.

Some of my favourite movies are Gattaca, Once, Ex_Machina and Amelie.

My favourite books include Woman on the Edge of Time, and One Thousand Splendid suns, as well as many of terry Pratchett's Disc World series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the UK I am heading to do a month long residency with a theatre company I have dreamed of working with; Blast Theory.

Teach, Learn, Share

If I am staying a few nights I'd love to cook a meal together and learn one of your favourite recipes. I am a social person, but also totally understand if you have work or are busy with life things and I'm happy to show myself around and go off and explore.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I can stay the night I would love to cook you a meal for you and sit down and have a chat and share a few stories. If you play music we can have a jam or play a few songs to each other.
