About Me

PHILOSOPHY

"Why not?"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just started familiarizing with Couchsurfing, but I've been using Airbnb for a while now, either for traveling or for hosting. I've met some extraordinary people and I hope I can meet way more using Couchsurfing :)

Interests

Music is a HUGE part of my life. My first job was as a music reporter and I've been working in similar fields ever since. Thanks to music I've met most of my friends (and ex-boyfriends, haha). I also spend a decent amount of time watching movies and TV shows.

I love cooking, eating and drinking.

And I absolutely love animals.

Music, Movies, and Books

I mostly listen to jazz, indie and experimental music.

I try to watch as many films as I can. I'm always trying to find small independent movies from different countries to get in touch with different cultures, but I will watch pretty much anything as long as it is not too obvious, predictable or unchallenging.

I also spend a lot of time watching TV shows: Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Veep, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock, The Office, Studio 60, Orange is the New Black, Portlandia, Newsroom, Sherlock, House of Cards, Homeland, United States of Tara, Black Mirror, Weeds, Arrested Development and Game of Thrones are my favorites (and yes, I do have a hard time picking favorites, haha)

I'm taking a break from biographies and romances for a while and reading mainly short stories books (I'm really enjoying "Exemplary Suicides" by this catalan writer, Enrique Vila-Matas, and "Noisey Outlaws.." by Nick Hornby, Neil Gaiman, Safran Foer and a few more remarkable fellas).

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm always interested in learning different languages, cultures and recipes. Exchanging favorite albums, movies and books is one of my favorite parts of traveling and meeting new people.

I absolutely love São Paulo and after a few years living in the city I know my way around it. It would be a pleasure to point you in the right direction to enjoy the best Sampa has to offer you.

I can probably teach you some portuguese and I love to cook to (or with) different people. It's always a great way to bound :)
